I have recently learned that you are shareholders of SCS and a member of your staff is a director of SCS and I have had the unfortunate experience of my dream sofa turn into a nightmare I was given a dangerous sofa which injured 3 members of my family and not only did I not receive compensation after speaking with numerous departments and stores not a single member of staff checked that my family were ok or apologise. This all happened over Christmas which ruined that too. I am now spending my time leaving reviews to ensure people do not use this company. I am going to take this experience to the courts as there is a personal injuries claim to be fought.

I am given to understand that your company owns ScS sofas. I had an awful experience with the Bedford branch last year, when trying to purchase a 3 seat reclining sofa, marked up for sale at 850.My wife gave the store 250 deposit, and took out the fabric care warranty for another 150. After 4 weeks we heard nothing and went in to pay the balance. It was then discovered that they had ordered us a standard sofa, and told us a recliner model would be double in price. I told them it was no good for me as I had a back problem and needed a recliner. The manager gave us the run around and despite me offering to purchase a sofa at double the price, and offering my credit card, he refused to give my wife her deposit back. We ended up buying a 3 seat recliner, in top grade leather from DFS. I have ,so far, cost the Bedford branch over 5000 in lost sales, and there is now a robust face book campaign with many,many negative stories about Scs. I have to question the business acumen of Scs, that rather than pay a couple of old age pensioners a deposit back,and ignore their requests for what they had asked for in the first place, they not only lost our business to a rival next door, they are losing many sales through negative review sites, and until this matter is resolved with integrity and fairness, we shall continue to warn potential customers to check the review sites.
