Great food, drinks, service! Sat at the bar bartender Chris was amazing. Brunch items are fantastic, the sticky bun is sinful, Swan Fox drink is a must! The OD Skillet is Devine!

The Obstinate Daughter is a must try in the Charleston food scene! They mix delicious fresh seafood with tasty pasta dishes and an beachy atmosphere. I would highly recommend the gnocchi and the local peal and eat shrimp. Their cocktails were great as well and we really enjoyed the rum creme brûlée for dessert.
Lauren, our server, was fantastic. The food was delicious... Including their amazing desserts... Very nice ambience, we could actually carry on a conversation...
What an experience! We celebrated my parents anniversary at The Obstinate Daughter and it did not disappoint! So many good things on the menu! We shared a few of the week’s specials as well as a pizza, pasta, and a couple of small plates. Food was seasoned perfectly and the desserts were paired perfectly with decaf americanos.
I wish I could leave a pandemic rating separately. The outdoor seating under the heat lamps was very nice, the indoors however.... you could forget were even living through covid. Packed restaurant with no sign of social distancing. Their wallet comes before the health of the community I guess. However, for the restaurant in general: The food was so good. We really really enjoyed our meal. The gnocchi is amazing. And it all came out really fast, despite the indoor part of the restaurant seeming to be packed. Server was nice and attentive, and also very fast. Took off one star because we made a reservation and when we got there the hostess asked for a name but the people on the phone hadn’t even asked for our name. Then she seemed really confused for a bit, just a bit clumsy organization on the restaurants part.
