We love Arabia Mountain and Aware!!! The volunteers and staff at Aware are amazing people full of great information every person should hear! Arabia Mountain is one of my family's top hiking/walking destination. We love the diversity of plant life, natural landforms and it always seems like we have the place mostly to ourselves even when the parking lot is full.

5 Stars because: I thoroughly enjoyed the 1 o’clock tour, they are truly concerned about the animals in their care and they provide a much-needed service. This is a rescue and rehab facility. It is only open to the public on Saturday and Sunday for a 1 PM tour. Staff here are friendly, informative and very professional. The staff are very comfortable and confident handling the animals and the animals in turn are very comfortable and relaxed around them. I did not need their services, so I cannot comment on that. I was there for the tour and I enjoyed it.

I love Arabia Mountain. It's 15 minutes from my house. I bring my senior dog. We always park here because the hike up is very manageable for him.

Beautiful! Mystical not terribly crowded! Parking a little limited! No established bathrooms!

Awesome hidden gem in Lithonia, Ga. I attended the A.W.A.R.E. animal presentation on a Saturday. The presentation was informative and lasted for about a hour. My only complaint is that I wasn't allowed to hold or touch any of the allowable animals that did not fall under Georgia wildlife code. Nonetheless, it was a great family friendly presentation and is a worthy non-profit that needs support from the community.
