I know with lockdown garages are not fully open. Went with every intention of buying a new kodiaq @ 35-40000 but Zero Interest was shown on me. Didn't ask my name, offer brochures or anything. Said I could only purchase online. Explained I would not spend that amount on a car without seeing it and test driving. Shoulders shrugged and told it was aimed at existing skoda owners who knew the brand and were updating their car. Has certainly put me off buying a skoda

Get this: our Citigo due for MOT test. Booked by phone 4 days earlier... easy. Car collected from home in the morning. Video of examination sent soon afterwards, with test results included in texted link (it passed!). Phone call to say that it was all clean, sanitised, and dusted in my drive. All before lunchtime that same day. And for less than an all-in 40... can you believe it?
I picked up a replacement bonnet fastening latch from the spares department, in Stirling. As my previous unit was damaged by my brother not stowing it correctly in the holder. I asked a guy (Chris) who was working in the forecourt if he could help me as I couldn't hold the bonnet open at the same time as fit the unit. Not only did he help, but as a part was missing from the new replacement, he took the old unit into the workshop and re-fitted the necessary part to the new unit. I thanked him for his help, but would like to inform you of how please I was with his customer care. Obviously by my accent he knew I wasn't local and therefore not a regular customer, but this didn't stop him for helping me. Thanks once again.
