Horrible experience. During an office visit my daughter, who is allergic to nuts, was exposed to someone eating peanut butter cookies in the waiting room. The office staff, including nurses, did NOTHING to protect my daughter. Also, the staff is rude and inefficient. Go elsewhere!

The doctors and nurses, receptionists and other staff are terrific and go the extra mile to help reduce allergy symptoms. Visits are thorough and comprehensive. They take time to ensure you understand changes to medications and instructions. 3/17/2020 Editing to add that they also offer virtual visits to reduce crowding in their waiting room for folks who MUST go into the office for their allergy shots. It's things like this that make me happy to be their patient.

Doctor is excellent but staff is one of the worst. I believe that the nurse that gives shots is a descendant of Mussolini. They have some odd requirements that are very difficult to meet and they are not very well organized. For example, I had to reschedule an appointment in December because of an unexpected business trip. I put the new date on my calendar and was happy to receive a confirmation phone call. I took half a day off from work to honor the appointment only to find out that it has been mysteriously cancelled. Of course, the staff claimed that I cancelled it but they assured me that they no longer use the automated calling to leave reminder calls (I wonder why!). They now use live calls. I am highly organized. if I cancel an appointment, I take it off my calendar and I reschedule which I did not do and unlike the last appointment, I had absolutely no reason to cancel this appointment.

Compared to my allergist office in Atlanta, this private practice is inefficient. I have never sat in any office in ATL for more than 35 minutes (that includes getting a shot). My doctor in ATL had a swipe system to check in for shots, separate from general doctor visits. At AAA I wait at least ten minutes for them to call me back, then the shots hurt. The nurses would forget how to read my chart instructions & to give me a liquid antihistamine before injection. I was told before even giving them my serum that I could just give them advance notice to pick them up, now that I’ve left, they’re giving me all these regulations. Why weren’t your nurses briefed on this protocol to inform me? I came to AAA for a month because I was staying interim at my parents in ATL until moving to NY. My old allergist gave me the serums to transport in safe packaging & told me how to store them so the serums didn’t spoil. Now that I’ve moved, it’s been a complete HASSLE to obtain my serum. I’m on a time crunch to get them injected before they spoil & have a crazy travel schedule. AAA has asked me to pay for overnight shipping 10 fee to receive my serum that they didn’t even make! Then had the nerve to push for making me throw out the old serums & get new ones. I strongly put my foot down. I am completely done with this place & customer service. It’s not their creation or serum to take ownership of & keep such checks and balances on how I can obtain it. Update: Finally got serum & they didn’t package it correctly. They put it in a Manila envelope with a mini ice pack instead of a cooler with multiple ice packs. Serum received at room temperature.

Doctor is good but with nurse gayini. We had the worst experience a person can ever have. She never had a smile on her face and was always rude. Recommend seeing the doctor but avoid the nurse most impolite person i ever met
