Fist time visiting the St Andrews Aquarium today and while it's not as big as the like of Deep Sea World etc it does have animals that we have not seen in the other ones so it was really good in that sense. Didn't take long to go round and see all the exhibits but did really enjoy it. Had a bit of an exploration on the beach right next to it well since it was nice and warm. Highly recommend taking a visit here. The more I think about it the more I think I prefer this one to the others we have been to.

For a small aquarium, there's a great deal of variety. And the information is really interesting and the staff are really nice. Plus you get meerkats!

The penguins and seals the pools could be much, much nicer. The poor penguins were looked so bored and it didn't look heathy for them. The seals could have had something to play with or something similar not just a crusty pool outside. The rest was amazing and stunning to see. The rays made me laugh so hard when I saw their faces.

It was a smashing place to spend an hour or so, the displays were great for my little grandson as he could see all the fish and animals from his baby carrier! The penguins, meerkats and monkeys stole the show though they were lovely to see! So much so on the way out at the shop, my darling grandson spotted a penguin soft toy and just had to have it!! I think an older child would need more to do and see, maybe something a bit more exciting!
