After this years experience I would quite happily never have to buy anything from Stevensons again. Firstly to avoid the store I placed my order online. All my items showed as in stock. I paid for express delivery. The order despatch note did not advise a number of items would be missing. Despite this full payment for all items was taken. When the order arrived 4 days later despite me paying for the express delivery option I rang to find out where the missing items were. On hold for 50 minutes I was assured my missng items would arrive by Friday. Nothing arrived on Friday or Saturday and having to ring multiple times on Saturday and being assured of call backs after been on hold for an hour an a half in total no call back received and no clarity nor responsibility taken by anyone to find out where the items were or when I would receive them. Terrible service and if there was a choice I would not use them in the future. The service has been appaling and very shoddy this year. I can only hope a competitor sets up an alternative company who understands how to actually run a business. The return to school period is certainly not a surprise and as one person said today "we are busy" no excuse for the poor service received is reasonable. Still no clearer on when my missing items will arrive.

Haphazard to say the least. Placed a school uniform order at end of August; all items apparently in stock. This was not the case. After waiting till October many items were still out of stock so I cancelled my remaining order. Was told a refund would be processed but this didn't happen. So I then emailed to request a refund but this still hasn't happened despite assurances it would be in my account within 5-7 working days. I genuinely wish that my child's school did not use this company as their sole supplier- purchasing school uniform and/or getting a refund should not be this difficult or this miserable.

Terrible customer experience. Never had a good experience here. They can get away with rubbish service as it's basically a captive market. List of gripes as long a my arm, can't be bothered listing them all.

Basically a cartel. Ordered uniform weeks in advance and did not arrive. Staff in the shop produce a litany of excuses and then promise it will arrive tomorrow - and then it never does. One star because we were able to get a wooly hat and a book bag on the hottest day of the year.

This isn't the only school clothes shop for my kids school but then again he goes to Public and not Private... There's one other place called Star Soccer at Castlepoint, check them out. No appointment needed, just no more than 3 people in the shop at once. Also isn't Rickards in Winton still open? Uniform available for some schools there if it is!

Received text to collect order, only to find one item out of stock! After phoning customer services they are going to send the item free of charge so all good in the end.

They've had my money for months but still no sign of my uniform. The bits I've received so far have been received piecemeal. No response to emails asking for info on when I might receive the rest of the uniform. It's outrageously bad customer service - a bit of expectation management would go a long way. I don't understand how every year the number of children at junior school needing junior school sized clothes appears to take them by total surprise. I understand that this had been an unusual year but this isn't unusually bad customer service from this shop in my experience unfortunately. Also, it's nearly half term - I was prepared for a bit of a delay but sorry, this is ridiculous.
