This was our first time trying Taco John's, we went through the drive through. Staff were very nice! The food though was just not for us, we found the food very bland. I got the taco bravo and all I could taste was the lettuce and beans, and the tomato I took out because it tasted sour as if it were going bad. My husband got the super burrito and he stated it was just balnd and he couldn't make out the flavors he described it like a bean burrito. However we both liked the tots and the lemonade which tasted like country time!

The taste of the meat used in these Street Tacos taste good and so does the queso blanco. There's some things I didn't like though. The price was kinda high for these tacos in my opinion, they weren't very big or filling with a small amount of meat. Like I said the meat tasted good but it was soaked with fat and juices which could of been avoided by draining the meat a bit before putting it in the tortilla which was soggy from this. The Pico and lettuce was also wet like they cleaned those ingredients but didn't drain all the water off. All three tacos plus the limes were on a piece of foil then wrapped up this made it messier and the limes made the tortillas more soggy on the outside. Also the the side of potatoes were good and crispy but WAY to salty to eat. So the meat and queso tasted decent and everything else not so much.

Loved this place when it was a tiny shop with a limited specialized menu and no seating other than a couple picnic tables outside on a covered patio. Sometimes I miss those simple days with that more basic menu but I'm still a fan of the food here. My favorite these days is the meat n potatoes burrito with a tub of the potato oles covered in mild sauce (I can't handle the hot sauce anymore but it's top notch too!).

Nice service and clean lobby, not many meatless choices on the menu, hot sauce is as hot as thousand island. The potato doodads are good.

This has been my Wife's favorite since High school when she used to walk there for her lunch break. It was a tiny little shack back in 2004 with a small town feel, now its has grown into way more, while still giving us that same great charm!!! As always the best tacos in town!!
