Mountbatten Hampshire Reviews | Rating 4.3 out of 5 stars (6 reviews)

Mountbatten Hampshire is located in Southampton, United Kingdom on Botley Rd, West End. Mountbatten Hampshire is rated 4.3 out of 5 in the category hospice in United Kingdom. Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity was established to raise funds for Countess Mountbatten Hospice. Some funding comes from the Government, however the charity needs to raise £1 million a year to ensure vital services are maintained. The hospice supports on average 3000 patients and their families every year who are living with terminal illnesses. The vital funds we raise enable the hospice to continue to offer nursing and medical care, emotional and practical support, welfare advice, occupational and physiotherapy, complementary therapies, spiritual care and creative activities. Small pleasures such as the drinks trolley that comes round twice daily, newspapers, tea and biscuits for families, pain relieving mattresses, our beautiful gardens tendered by our team of volunteers, and beds for overnight visitors all add to improving the experience of the people accessing our hospice.

My darling daughter died in January and the care she got was wonderful, also the way the family were considered

My Grandad was in this hospice and was very fond of Linda and Donna! Two very lovely ladies! The staff altogether were brilliant and extremely supportive. A tranquil and peaceful place. Thank you everyone!

We had an appalling experience with very uncaring night staff, I raised a complaint with the director of nursing but we were never apologised to. We were also told all sorts of things, to prevent any further occurrence of our horrible treatment, would be put in place but it didn't happen. There are some wonderful staff there but sadly spoiled by a few heartless ones who make such a difficult time so much harder .

The Chumps been dumped.

Truly carring staff that did everything possible to give my dearest friend Zoe, dignified, thorough and gentle nursing towards the end of her awful cancer. Every time I think of the CMH it’s with admiration at the work they do. Thank you to everyone that works and volunteers there, you do an extremely difficult job to the highest of standards. Lovely place. All staff volunteers. Teas and snacks provided by staff. So voluntary. When myself and colleagues bring people in we always stop off for Tea and donate money
