Nice little place, two ponds with carp and ducks to feed, and some lovely grounds to walk around. When your finished walking around there is a small woodland and nice field round the back to walk around. Only downside was the amount of duck poo around the ponds, make sure to take spare footwear to change into when getting back into your car.

Had a lovely encounter with a volunteer and learned so much about beech trees and the history of the place. We enjoyed the vegetable gardens and could bring some produce home which was available through an honesty box system. The cafe menu looked amazing but we were running a bit short on time, so we'll come back and try it. Overall a no-brainer - free entry. Only thing for parents with young kids - there are 3 very deep ponds.
Beautiful grounds very tranquil, great for dog walkers and cafe is very good to, but better to book in advance of going. Wellies should be considered but not essential and parking is free on the main road directly opposite the entrances. Worth a visit!
Brilliant place for a family walk with two small ponds, offering links to public paths, if you fancy a bit longer walk
Lovely to walk around. Most especially in summer and Autumn.
