An excellent beach for a day trip from Melbourne. How to get there: Of course the obvious option of driving, which takes about an hour and half from CBD Melbourne. However, public transport is available too. Take a bus from Frankston Train station and you are here in about 20 min of bus trip and about 15min walk. What to do? The beach in itself is great fun, but the best part is the Jump into the natural pool formed along the beach. There is a natural water body adjacent to a mini cliff and many tourists take a dive into it for fun and mini scale adrenaline rush. The pool is not very kid-safe though. There is a walking trail to the St Pauls beach from here and the views dellin the cliffs along the path are awesome. There is a decent cafe and restaurant with great views at the club. Highly recommended visit if you have a day at your disposal and are in Melbourne.

Great beach. Often wind protected. Good swimming and surfing plus rock pools. Not a lot of parking. There is also BBQ area at the back. Walk to the lookout for a great view

Staff always on alert and training kids too! But there is 2 outdoor showers and constantly 50 people in queue. Waited an hour to rinse. Maybe time to get few more showers!
