Incredible views, a beautiful piazza and charming church on the spot where the fighting in the decisive Battle of Solferino was most intense.

ended up here by accident. so happens to be a significant place in history. well worth it if your an history buff. much is in italian, thats a pitty.
Its very nice place
A watchtower of medieval origin, this building now stands as a monument to the battle of Solferino. It offers the highest vantage point for miles. Worth visiting if you're interested in knowing more of the Italian war of independence. Some amazing carpentry work in the ramp and balustrade leading to the top as well as the memorial room at the top that has two beautifully carved doors and two huge painting of Napoleon III and Vittorio Emanuele II.
Could be a very nice place to visit if there was more parking space. The church was closed.
