I bought a Mini Clubman Diesel from here in May 2017. I realise this is an old review but I’m at the end of my tether with the terrible car Bryony sold me. I had issues with the car from the start including a dubious clutch, lack of interior mats promised at purchase and paint overspray on the bodywork. This clutch was inspected and I was told it was ok. Within 6 months of owning the car struggled to start. Glow clubs replaced at Sytner oldbury under warranty. I have had the car regularly serviced at rybrook Worcester since purchase. However not long after the warranty expired the clutch gave up conveniently enough. Then shock absorbers found to be leaking. In 2019 the timing chain snapped again not covered by warranty and caused a fair bit of engine damage. If I had continued with the 4 year PCP rather than settling the finance I would still be paying for a useless car. I paid around 2300 to get it fixed, MINI basically washed their hands of it. Since then a few other issues have occurred and today the car won’t start again! Glow plug issues yet again. I would advise anyone not to buy a car that is not fully covered for the duration of ownership by a BMW Mini warranty. It’s a money pit of a car and I would never buy another BMW product.
