One of the best restaurant un Kyoto, I think! You can taste a lot of different flavour, because its a typical \Kaiseki\. Much better than the Parisian one.

The restaurant is quite popular. I honestly dont know why. Unfortunately I didn't like it. The building itself is ok, in a nice area. Service is not the best. Food also not the best. I expected much more...
It’s an absolutely amazing meal of Kaiseki seasonal foods that are made right in front of you. And the chefs are down-to-earth and love talking with their customers. It’s a wonderful place to go if you want to spend a few hours enjoying a peaceful dinner. I took quite a few pictures and a short video. Overall, it’s the best 8 or 9- course meal you can get in Kyoto for around 4300! The atmosphere is nice too. It’s a small and quaint restaurant with a small river running alongside it. And part of the appeal of the restaurant, is it’s hard to find in a residential area.
A great kaiseki restaurant with an energetic twist. A true entrepreneurial chef who battled tremendous hardships but believed in his vision to create a one of a kind experience. To his benefit has locations in Paris, Hawaii, Tokyo & Kyoto. Everything is made to perfection and has enormous amounts of detail put into each dish. Reservations are a must and if you can get a seat on the first floor then don't miss out.
Delicious food. Nice ambiance. Poor service. The wait staff seem miserable. They don’t seem to care or want to help you. Hard to get their attention. Food is very delectable but portions are small. It’s a perfect amount of food if you’re not starving.
