lovely lunch today with my sister my mum. Thought it would be too busy on Sunday so brought my mum out for the first time in too long for a day-late Sunday Lunch. Very friendly lady serving us and the girl making the roast was very helpful and patient and brought our food to us, which was delicious.

Cavery had been sat under heat lamps for a long time, potatoes where inedible(see photo) Veg had dried and sauces had skin over the top where they had been out for a while. Meat on the plus side was very nice. cooked well. Good portions

Went in for lunch today, slight mix up with my burger but well worth the wait!! Reasonable priced food, Handsome service ;) and all round good atmosphere. All Covid measures in place, staff even helped me to fill in my track and trace (at a safe distance) Will definitely be going back.

came in for lunch on Sunday, was very busy but nothing too much trouble for the staff here. food was great and was stuffed after eating a massive roast. hope they are back open soon and Boris isn't causing them too much trouble!

I have never been so embarrassed to take my family to this carvery to celebrate a birthday of a family member who came down from Sheffield the food was appalling dried up look like it was sitting there all day. my son order a burger which came with everything in it which he did not want and it took another 30 min for a new one to come out then it was so dry he could not eat it the so called chef was very rude i work in the food industry and i would be sacked on the spot if i gave food out like that .Never will i set foot in this place again to give them my hard earned money when the mangerment or stonehouse do not give a dame about this place

No greeting when we came in, waited 10 minutes to be served. Waitress was friendly and food was nice but the starters were served without cutlery and napkins so we had to use our hands. No one asked us for track and trace. No one checked on us or cleared our starters until 20 minutes since we finished them. Waiter serving customers with his coat on. Nice food and drinks but the service was shocking. Table next to us sat there with menus for 20 minutes until they went to the bar to ask for an order to be taken. Just not really acceptable.

Went in for a takeaway roast and pizza. After waiting, waiting and waiting, with various updates of "food is on its way", "its just being boxed up", the Manager comes to tell me the chef has burnt the pizza. This is after half an hour. He offered me a drink on the house. Wait a bit longer with no update, all in all OVER AN HOUR FROM PLACING THE ORDER, the food arrives, only to find I've been given the wrong pizza (not what I ordered) and that it was cold. The roast was OK, the Mrs enjoyed it. Meat as dry as a boot. Really poor experience. The place is cheap and cheerful which also reflects the service.

Arrived after booking table and had to wait 40 minutes to have our order taken. We then had to wait a further 30 minutes for drinks and food. When arrived the chips were cold and margarita pizza a joke. After telling staff chips were cold they took them to have new ones cooked which then arrived semi frozen inside. Normally like this place but todays visit has totally put me off, I feel for thr poor one member of staff waiting tables.
