Eh. No social space for students. Cameras don't work and are hardly checked. Lots of robberies this year very dirty when you first move it. No reception - have to walk to Endcliffe. Hardly any parking spaces. When moving in this year with covid there was no restrictions or staff to ensure our safety. Very very very standard and incredibly uncomfortable beds But pleasantly larger rooms than other unis

Uni accommodation. I think it is overpriced and just trying to make money from the students. On the positive side it doesn't look so old and I think it has some facilities for laundry etc.
Has everything you'd need. A very functional accomodation. Heater in the right places, multiple bins, big kitchen, study lights on desks, sinks in room, two kitchen sinks, 2 fridges. It's shared bathroom however the cleaners clean it, which is great! It's fairly priced. If you get ok flatmates, it'll be great. I had the best 2 years of university there.
Guide for those who are planning to live in Broad Lane Court. 1. Every building has code door so no stranger can enter any building in this accommodation. You will get the code to your building with the key. 2. Cleaner cleans the washrooms and kitchen fortnightly. No extra charges as this service is included in rent. You have to clean your room yourself. 3. There is common laundry room and every resident gets a card to operate washing machines. So outsiders can't use this laundry. You have to transfer money to your online laundry account then you will receive a code via email. There is a machine in laundry room to top up the laundry card. Insert your card in that machine and put the received code to transfer money to your laundry card. 4. Shower's knob isn't there to increase the shower speed rather it controls the temperature. 5. You can control the individual heaters in rooms, kitchen and washroom but don't forget to turn on central heating as you arrive in flat else no heater will work. 6. No common room so no social life. 7. It is relatively expensive but it is best location to live. Tesco is nearby. Diamond is nearby. Student Union is nearby. City center isn't too far away. 8. They do fire alarm drills. Not a good experience to stand outside with whole broad lane court in your pyjamas at 6 am.
Nice environment tho, got friends there
