Lisa was a great support system even when the pandemic limited our original plans. She supported me along the way giving lots of helpful advice and tips. For the birth, she provided hands on support at home and was in communication with us throughout the birth at the hospital- making us feel confident in our choices. Her postpartum treats are also super yummy :) and nourishing!

Lisa Fletcher came into our lives as a referred doula. After months of preparation to give birth with her by our side, she will eternally be considered part of our family. Even during a pandemic with unforeseen restrictions, we continued to feel her support. She wasn't physically able to join us in the hospital the day of the birth, however we felt confident and strong with the solid foundation of Seven Gates knowledge. After my daughter was born, Lisa facilitated my healing with reiki and massage therapy. For all those moms to be, I highly suggest you welcome Lisa into your homes and hearts.

Lisa has a delightful spirit and nature, she is calm with a strong and supportive energy...exactly what a pregnant Mama needs. She helped my husband and I bring our 37.5 week baby into the world through the most serene, Pitocin Induction delivery imaginable. I didn’t even need an epidural. Our first birth was a much longer and more intense experience with Pitocin and a very necessary epidural, so it was such a gift to have a new experience with our second. Lisa’s incredible training, including use of Spinning Babies techniques and calming techniques, and her wonderful way of working with the nursing/OB staff, helped us maintain such a peaceful labor process. We are so grateful our paths crossed with Lisa’s!

We participated in the Birthing from Within class with Lisa in early 2020 in preparation for the birth of our daughter. I initially had a hard time researching birth preparation courses and deciding which classes would be the best fit for us. As first time parents it’s so hard to know how to prepare- I just wanted ALL the information possible. I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to take birthing from within classes with Lisa. It sounds cliche, but they were everything I wanted and more. She touched on many of the practical, physical things I was looking for (labor positions, pain management techniques, guidance for your partner in how to support you during birth) but also encouraged us to explore and discuss the emotional journey we were about to embark on. Yes, you will do art projects and talk about your goals, hopes and fears in this class. No, you won’t die of embarrassment. I was pretty nervous about this part but Lisa is one of those people that feels like an old friend, even from the first time meeting her, so it ended up feeling very natural and comfortable talking about some challenging things with her and our classmates. I would strongly encourage anyone looking into services with Lisa to reach out to her via phone or email. We truly appreciated her openness in sharing her own experiences with us and always felt she genuinely cared about helping us have a positive birth experience.

I absolutely loved having Lisa at my birth. Being a single mom, I wanted extra support while giving birth and that's exactly what she did and more.
