Menu with pictures. Lovely and friendly staff. Dont know anything about soba or tempura but I liked the food. Great place to start if youve never eaten tempura before.

I like Japanese-style diners and Tendon Tenya is pretty good. My cold soba was a little over-cooked, but tasty. Service was friendly. No English menu.

Cheap and cheerful tempura on rice. Good for vegetarians: order the ‘tendon’ (天丼), you’ll get vegetables tempura only on rice.
