Nicely laid out and landcaped functioning temple so be mindful when visiting. There are a lot if signs asking for quiet. Which also makes it strangely calm when it is crowded.

This is one of my favorite places. A temple accessible by public transpo. What makes it special is its history. I make it a point to visit at least once a year. Lovely place whatever the season.

The Gilsangsa Temple is one of the oldest temples in Korea. This place is very calm and beautiful. I visited this temple with my parents and had time to pray together. Although you took a bus to get here, it was easy to get here and had a nice time with my family. Look at the beautiful pictures of this temple They have Temple States event regularly.

This used to be a geisha house turned into a temple. Amazing place.

It is an interesting and peaceful place. However, it is quite far away from anything else. With song if you have time though. The café was very cheap yet served tasty drinks.

A very peaceful place - there were prayers being held inside the main temple so the doors were closed and I wasn't able to see inside but you can walk around the complex- there's meditation halls and a lot of trees, a pretty serene place. Just outside the temple was the bus stop very convenient.
