I had such a good experience. I absolutely loved it!! I would do it again Kristie is an amazing trainer!! Thank you so much I feel so confident that I would be safe in any situation. 100% recommend!!!!

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I came here wanting to gain knowledge on how to defend myself but Troy and his instructor Kristie have given VERY unprofessional customer service. I started classes at self defense back on 02/2020. Our classes had to be stopped because the school closed due to covid. Upon returning I was still being charged for classes even though Kristie herself said she would give us time to go back over what we previously learned since it had been so long. Not only was I being charged for classes I hadn’t taken yet but I was also overcharged. Kristie’s demeanor when I expressed this became very negative. In addition, the school also had no concerns for covid, there was no sanitation or extra steps being taken. It got to a point where I felt uncomfortable returning. I personally reached out to the owner Troy for a refund for the classes I NEVER took and the overcharge. He stated he’d process it. That was months ago. Troy now ignores all my emails. I have been patient and have given more than enough time for the school to help resolve this behind closed doors. No one should go through what I am. This school literally charged me a grand for unused services. Troy said himself that Kristie gets paid first for every student and then he handles the refunds after that and told me not to bug her since that’s her paycheck even though again, she charged my card for classes I didn’t even take yet. So DO NOT leave your card on file with them!!! Once they swipe it, it’s Kristie’s and apparently she can swipe it whenever and however much she wants to. Shame on this business! EDIT:(in response to Kristie) I’ll go ahead and let the screenshots speak for themselves. It’s obvious it wasn’t 7 months later, I have been speaking to your boss-Troy since May. I am aware you’re aware of that. In addition, you literally texted me in WRITING that the facility was closed. I included that screenshot as well so please stop with the lies

Highly recommend training here! Troy and Kristie are INCREDIBLE teachers. I just finished my 12 classes with Kristie and cannot wait time sign up for more in the future. I feel confident and very well prepared to defend myself in numerous situations

Reality Defense Training in Scottsdale teaches self defense techniques that apply to real life scenarios. RDT has courses for both men and women. The Focused Applied Skill Set Training (F.A.S.S.T.) course for women is a 12 session course that teaches various techniques that will help women develop the self confidence needed to protect themselves. This course is awesome and taught me great knowledge not only on how to protect myself if attacked, but also awareness strategies that may help prevent an attack in the first place. Kristie is a trainer who is highly skilled and has trained with the owner Troy for many years. Her expertise will keep you motivated and you’ll always look forward to your next session. Highly recommend this course!

Troy and his team are the very best. If you want to know how to defend yourself in a worst case, real world back ally scenario, these guys are the final word. Every other martial arts operates on the premise of a set of rules observed by both combatants. That is simply not the case on the streets. Troy will teach you to fight for your life--because your life depends on it. You won't get the kind of one-on-one attention anywhere else. Check him out, you won't regret it.
