I'm reviewing Camp Ketcha as a wedding venue. I'll start out my saying that I am a wedding photographer who travels all over the state of Maine photographing weddings so I work at a lot of different wedding venues. Camp Ketcha was such a wonderful experience all around for both myself and my clients who got married there. The whole day went along seamlessly thanks to their professional and organized team. I'd recommend Camp Ketcha to anyone looking for a great place to get married in Maine!

I can not say enough about the wonderful people and the wonderful grounds. All of the preschool teachers are very caring and patient. They are always energetic, no matter the weather, to get the kids out in the woods to explore nature. All modern research shows the teaching technique used by Camp Ketcha to be the most beneficial to young kids. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Camp Ketcha has left their grounds open for kids to get some fresh air. The staff provided craft projects for anyone who wanted them, free of cost, while kids were home from school.
The counsellors in the horse program were mean and we barely got to ride, I would not recommend the horse program.
I attended a wedding recently that had both the ceremony and reception right on site at Camp Ketcha. The property itself was beautiful, with a nice covered area for post-ceremony snacks and cocktail hour. The main event hall had been decorated for the reception and was both spacious and pleasant to look at. Having a kitchen area inside the same main building was extremely handy for preparing the reception meal and also for clean-up.
A magical place full of opportunity for children to grow and develop a deep love and value for nature.
They shut down the only thing my daughter looked forward to this summer...the equestrian program. Now she is loosing her best freinds,horses,and barn mates. Do not reccomend.
Went here as a kid, I was outright bullied by a counselor, not a great experience, I hope they've gotten better since i was young, but it left an impression on me
Bad experience. The woman who runs the lessons was mean to the teacher on her staff who provided lessons for my daughter. It was shocking.
