We loved our stay for a week at the end of August. The cabin is rustic and cozy, perfect for the three of us. The pull out couch was very handy (Camp George). The propane lamps were fun to use for the ambiance in the evening. Bedrooms were just enough for a good night's rest after a day of kayaking or spending time in town. Full Bathroom with an outhouse for backup. Full kitchen as well for preparing a nice meal if it is cool or rainy out. There is an electric heater or wood burning stove for the crisp cool night's which we had a few. The dock is right outside to launch your canoe or kayak. A small grill to use to do some quick hamburgers and hotdogs. It is definitely in the woods and was quiet even with people in the next cabin, we hardly knew they were there. It's close to town for shops, restaurants, ice cream, coffee, etc. Marjorie the host was very nice and accomadated whatever our needs were. We are already planning our next trip and will be staying again next year. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Camp Adele. The owners are great, especially when we showed up with a 20 foot Bass Boat. The launch & dock were a plus. The town of Saranac is a 5 minute drive. Lake Placid & White Face Mountain is a short drive away. We enjoyed the local microbreweries & great food. Don't hesitate to rent Cochran's Cabins & enjoy nature at it's finest.

Some of my family and friends rented camp Adelle from Saturday to Saturday. It was a perfect camp site right on the water with a dock and everything you could expect from a camp site in the Adirondacks. Do keep in mind it is a place to be with wilderness it is not for loud parties or music. The owners live on site and are very kind. They can help with anything you need, this includes anything on or off the campsite. They will help you locate anything you want to do by boat or car. I would gladly go back and camp here every year.

Cochran’s cabins is an excellent experience. First the family is great, very welcoming and run top notch operation. Cabin are conveniently close to everything in Saranac area but feel like you are in middle of no where. We were in camp Lawrence and did not go in any other cabin but it was comfortable with everything you need for your stay. We were on annual fishing trip and spoiled by cabins. If you want relaxing, rustic, accommodations that really are just great I highly recommend.

We had the best time. We kayaked all over the place. The cabin was perfect. So perfect I can't tell you the name as we want to have it annually. Great place. Great location. Saranac village is super cute but the dock was the best part. Even got to open a lock manually, which doesn't sound like fun but it was.

You will absolutely LOVE Cochran's cabins. Best vacations ever have been spent there. VERY, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. No, I am not related to the owners. Just a place I've been going to since the 70's. Love it.

We called to confirm renting a cabin for 3 days the lady was extremely rude and mean on the phone told us she had no availability after we booked 1 night on her website

Great little pet friendly cabin! Warm and cozy experience! Very secluded, quiet and clean. Only complaint is not having a place for a camp fire at our cabin [ would consider a second return if we go back to the area.
