Sooooo, I literally just stopped here to be a tourist. I live a few miles away and just decided to check it out. Not really my kind of thing, but if you like old junk and art, then you found the place. Lol, sorry. Some nifty stuff.

Authentic, very intriguing stop! Not to be missed! The Trading Post is also opening a museum at the site, to open mid-March, displaying original costumes from Dances with Wolves created by the owner, Cathy Smith. Also displayed is the Emmy she won for her authentic costumes in the movie. Her daughter, Jennifer Jesse Smith, jeweler, lives onsite and sells her works.

This was a great stop! The Store Owner ,Ms. Jennifer Smith was sooooo Hospitable. This is a little jewel just slightly off the beaten path in Nambe. You will surely be impressed by her Silver wearable Artwork, as well as the local Artisans work that is also purchasable.

This is an excellent hidden treasure and worth the trip off the beaten path. Wonderful owner and worker that will spend time with you showing the art and other wears sold in the trading posts. There are excellent deals and great stories behind most of the work sold or displayed. Thank you for opening up you shop to us!

Interesting. Lots of lovely things but so were the prices. Outside was absolutely gorgeous with all the flowers and trees. I'm sure it was a real authentic place to stop in it's day. Unlike any other trading post I've ever been to it was more artsy than commercial.
