I'm a content creator online. And when I held a vote to get my hair dyed for the first time, I needed someone professional to do it. I was told to check out Palomar Institute of Cosmetology. I'm SO glad I did! Elena, a student, and a professional in my eyes, did amazing work! It's exactly what I wanted, and even better because she helped me decide what would look best for me. The staff is friendly, their work is incredible, and the prices are almost a steal. I cannot give more than a 5-star review, but I would if I could. Thank you Elena, and P.I.C. for this amazing experience!

My daughter attends this school. She has a week immune system and asked not to perform any skin care treatments any person she didn’t know and trust. The school scheduled her with a stranger and the following day that stranger tested positive with COVID-19. Not only did the school put her in a life threatening position, the school our entire family is danger of getting COVID-19. The irresponsible of the school is absolutely incomprehensible!
I had a wonderful experience for my first time here! The instructor Ms.Marlani was wonderful!! She made sure you left from there feeling happy with the results, which I’m happy to say; I sure did!! Thank you so much!! I’ll be back again!
love the skincare program and facials. I hope they keep running email specials, night parties and keep their costs down. It's what makes going to the school worth it. thanks for being a reasonable business in North County us budget minded people can frequent. I have been coming here since my son was born as a moms night out option with our playgroup. He is now 20. (im old) and watched this place update, get new product lines and remodeled. Keep up the updating but keep your prices low.
If I could give this school a zero I would. My mom went to get her hair TRIMMED today 1/30/2019. She must have stated 5 times to the student she wanted a tiny, not noticeable trim. The student, Kayela (not sure on spelling) cut OFF my moms hair to the point where she cant even put her hair up anymore. So over 4-5 inches was cut. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? She was crying and devastated. I am not sure what kind of program is being run here to let someone SO incompetent near scissors. We understand people need to learn but if you cannot do a basic trim yet, then you should not be alone doing hair. This student should find an alternative career choice and the head of the school needs to ensure that students are prepared prior to cutting hair and taking clients. This is ridiculous.
