Two words: Tacos Arabes. Probably the best tacos I've ever had, the pork is sliced off a big skewer, it is so tender and flavorful. All of tacos at this place were excellent. The freshness in the ingredients is very front and center in the flavors. Handmade corn tortillas are legit. The owner is a super nice and humble person. I was totally blown away by this place, I'm very grateful we stumbled upon it.

Love this place! As a food photographer, I've visited countless San Diego taco spots to shoot and taste some pretty amazing food. Pacific Fresh Grill, though... they stole my heart. This is how I describe this spot to my friends: "Remember that time we paid 20 for a taco at that shmancy Mexican place? Now imagine it even better, for under 4... that's Pacific Fresh Grill!" From the ingredients inside to the tortilla outside, I always enjoy every bite (been there 4 times in 1 week.) Their Mexico City Style Quesadillas were also pretty amazing. A few pics below from my last visit. If you haven't been, go. Like... now.

I go to Tijuana every week, this is my taco go-to spot. Do not hesitate, give it a shot. Every taco has its special touch, ask the owner he will hand you himself the tacos out of the oven. Show him some love and you might get some fresh hand made tortillas for the win! #SecretSpot

Came to San Diego for a relaxing vacation and stumbled upon PFG Tacos. The tacos are by far some of the freshest I’ve ever had and they sell them for such a cheap price. I highly recommend coming here because they are supremely underrated.

Omg......so much culture and heart in how these tacos got made. The owner makes the tacos he ate growing up from different indigenous influences and how his grandma made them. Like Lebanese tacos. (Arabes)...I always thought a taco was just a taco....but the owner was so passionate about telling me how tacos came to be from different places in Mexico...he's not just making typical tacos. It was the freshest wholesome clean taco I ate.....he helps support the local farmers in Mexico by purchasing their organic blue and yellow corn that makes the tortilla. That alone tasted so good.....he such a wonderful chef, kind hearted as well along with his wife. So happy I got to learn more about Mexico's culture and their foods.

I've never had more tender steak in a taco. The sauces are all on point, and all ingredients are super fresh. The flavors aren't just the standard generic good SD taco fare, there's actual creativity. This is the best of the taco places I've been to in San Diego. Don't miss the chichihuas taco just because it's vegetarian, it's a thing of beauty. They sometimes run out of stuff, but that's not so bad since everything is good. Just roll with it.

Hadn't seen this place before, but came across it via yelp. Probably the best fish taco I've had in years(I Ordered the Tally taco) and great Al Carbon too. Really fresh, and unique compared to most of the taco stands around here. Plus, 2 tacos were 6.50. The couple running the place were super friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with them. I hope this place takes off, well worth a visit.
