Tim was extremely friendly and made us feel at ease immediately. We had a great day with plenty of action. It is great to have this experience with someone who truly enjoys what he is doing. And not just going through the motions. Tim clearly knows what he is doing and got us on the fish immediately . We managed to land 3 fish, one for each of us (not mentioning the ones we did not manage to get to the boat). I would certainly recommend Tim if you are looking for a great fishing experience

Tim took me out on a great trip last month! Caught tons of fish and crabs! Told me all about the Vancouver and what to do while I was here in British Columbia. Very knowledge and personable guy! Great price too!
My 2 buddies and I had a great time out with Captain Tim on his boat. Such a gorgeous day out on the water - not a lot of chop so it was a very pleasant day. Unfortunately it wasn't our day as we didn't even get a bite; and I know Tim tried everything he could to get us to it. It was a very slow day even for other boats too. Tim was super friendly, taught us a lot about the different salmon species, the lures, and equipment used, and funny stories about fishing. I had such a blast even though fishing was slow - and as an avid fisherman myself I know you don't always catch fish. However, we caught lots of crabs! We got to help pull the crab nets up which provides us a hands-on experience all the way. Tim was also a great captain - warn us of a big chop before we crossed it so we have time to hold on, and he would slow down before going over them too so it makes it very pleasant and comfortable being a passenger on his boat. He takes care of his passengers very well!
5 Star experience! or should I say 5 Salmon experience??!! I absolutely loved my day fishing with Captain Tim of Saltwater City Fishing Charters! Myself (a girl) and another girlfriend were looking to do something a little more exciting then the regular girls gathering (i.e. drinks at a restaurant, pedicure, manicure, biking etc.) ... so we decided to go fishing for a few hours! Totally get a few girlfriends together and go do this! Perfect boat for 4 people...but we did it with just two girls. We met Captain Tim near the Vancouver Convention Centre and everything was ready to go...we started by touring the waters...viewing Stanley Park and major Vancouver City sights from the water was awesome! I wasn't really expecting to catch any fish, just wanted to get some quality time with my friend..but with the right bait and a hot spot fishing location the Saltwater City Fishing Charters guy knew about we amazingly caught many big beautiful Salmon! Feeling like a successful fisher lady we started our boat drive back to the city...stopping to collect the crab trap we dropped earlier whereby we caught lots of crab!!! Thanks Saltwater City Fishing Charters for a great day of fishing!
We hired Saltwater-City for an afternoon of fishing and quality "girlfriend and suntan time" for me and my bestie and it was amazing! Tim totally knows his stuff and took us to a number of spots where we saw fish jumping... and then we caught them. Seven of them! We learned how to set the downriggers, experienced touching crabs, and became really good at watching for fish biting and then reeling them in with just the right amount of play. Us chicks rocked the waters, so much fun!! I would definitely recommend hiring Tim because he is also a great tour guide and is very personable and entertaining. I felt safe on the water and he drove in a respectful manner so we never hurt ourselves crashing the wake and could enjoy the wind in our hair. Awesome!
