Recovered a horsebox, which the recovery mechanic was excellent he said would either be the alternator or starter motor after testing the batteries. However when it got to the garage they wouldn’t give me an estimate of the price as they then took over 3.5 hours to find out what it was the matter with the horsebox after the recovery mechanic spent nearly an hour trying to start it. The garage then wouldn’t give me the price till it was fixed. Turned out to be the alternator which was already discussed during recovery. The garage also broke the speedo as well. Absolut rip off merchants I would never recommend this garage at all. Go to Pearl in Romsey much more transparent and helpful when it comes to fixing horse boxes!

Helping someone release an impounded vehicle, I was astounded by the unbelievable rudeness of the man when negotiating the price, considering my friend was in custody for 2 days and is expected to pay the cost of this vehicle being impounded (at 150 for ecovery\ and 20/day charged after midday) when they had no option at all to recover it. We also started out at 8am in the morning to try and beat it for midday and I asked them that it's not him bailing out the car it was someone else and they were still certain that the price stands, and wouldn't budge. It's quite clear that Southampton Police and this company have an agreement to collect as much money possible from impounded vehicles as it was made clear the garage takes a commission from this. Sometimes a little compassion would be nice. The injustice system makes no sense at times. However, the rest of the staff were lovely and really friendly when getting the car

At 17.37pm today an Avery lorry came round the bend, before the Green Dragon at Brook, Hampshire. Followed by another. The first lorry was over the lines in middle of the road, forcing my wife to slow and move over. The driver was on his mobile phone with one hand on the wheel and the phone to his ear. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.
