There are priceless exhibits here but very poorly organized. The staff are rude and seem to have little interest in explaining the historic significance to the visitors. They seem to be reluctantly welcoming paying guests. I wish the Smithsonian Institution were running this museum. Then it would be worth visiting multiple times.

Very good experience and all the safety rules were follow by the people. Because on this pandemic times I hate the crowded places I was happy to see people respecting the rules and not to much people on Sunday morning

Museum visit pandemic style was aright. Mask on and stick to your bubble. Kiddos can run and climb up into some of the train cars. I good way to kill 1.5 hours indoors.

Your younger kid(s) will love this place, and adults will find it interesting too. There are plenty of trains, and within some of them are play rooms for kids 10 and under. The grounds are very large. In addition to the main building there are train storage buildings that can sometimes be viewed. There is a cafe/restaurant on site and a smaller IMAX theatre as well.

Great place to bring the family. Lots of exhibits and things to see. There are some interactive elements but not many. Great to see engineering from a different era. Don't forget to check out the model train room. Amazing how many hours they put into this exhibit.
