After a long day of exploring Rome we were tired and hungry and had this ristorante recommended to us by our Airbnb host. Everything was so delicious & had so much flavor. We we extremely happy with the food and very friendly service. The chef came out and spoke with us and explained (in good English!) what his specials were. The house red wine was delightful and the olive oil was the freshest and greenest we’ve ever seen. Highly recommend this spot!

A great restaurant outside Rome.....never would i thought this little place could pack so much good food into a short time....Graziano was fantastic...food was a 9.25.....wine selection is local and excellent. I could not have imagined tasting such a selection of food in one place. Took a picture with the owners and two other customers......framed and sent it to them as a thank you.......
Simply put, do not pass this place up! My wife and I were visiting Rome all day. We got back to the airport Marriott and were looking for local authentic Italian cuisine, at a non-touristy restaurant. What we found exceeded out wildest imaginations. As it turns out, there are not many restaurants in this area of Rome to begin with and most were closing because we ventured out late evening. We drove up to Taverna Portuense Trattoria expecting them to turn us away because they too were closing, which they were. The owners greeted us and told us to stay and they would cook us anything off the menu we wanted. The dishes on the menu were all unique and interesting. After choosing a couple entries, a few moments later we were sampling some of Italy's finest. The food was paired with awesome Italian wine and our tastebuds thanked us. We met the owners, wife (chef) and husband (host and server) who were fun and made meal extra special. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Very nice place. Excellent quality of food. Really recommended. I had an excellent dinner here, with extraordinary ham and salami (coppa, soppressata). Very good Risotto Porcini and Zafferano, Pollo ai Peperoni some veggies and top quality wine for a very honest price.
Having toured Europe for a month, we found the food and service here to be our favorite! The freshest ingredients prepared with passion and expertise - with friendly and proficient service. The appetizer sample platter was amazing. The fish and pork dishes divine. We ordered two desserts each - also amazing. Be sure to frequent this restaurant often - superb!!!
