First of, I want to make something clear: A lot of comments state that service is unfriendly/bad to foreigners, but that's absolutely NOT true! I don't speak a single word Italian, but the waiter was EXTREMELY friendly, brought us the menu and without any hesitation helped us with the choice of our meals (translated/described it to us). We got excellent recommendations from him and really enjoyed our time there! Conclusion: Very delicious food, nice and charming ambient, friendly service and fair prices. I absolutely recommend this place, even (or especially) to non-Italians (in order to experience real Italian/Roman cuisine).

As authentic as it gets. The first courses (pastas) are nothing special but if you come here it's for the fresh mozzarella, second courses and the desserts.

I showed up 15 minutes before they opened. They told me to come back in 15 minutes but the immediately sat a party of local Italians after we walked away. I walked backed to try find out if i could come in and they ignored me. I guess you cant get good service there if you're American. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Do not go!!! Horrible service, if you are American they will ignore you and treat you like you don’t exist. This restaurant was recommended by an Italian friend. We showed up and they acted like they did not want to serve us. An Italian family showed up right after us and they greeted them with kisses and sat them immediately while they told us they didn’t have a table for us even though we were the same size party as the Italians that showed up after us. Rude, cold food if you even get your food. Don’t recommend at all. Don’t waste your time.
