Just looking through our August trip to Rome pictures and couldn't help but post about this little gem of a restaurant we found while in Rome. The price was reasonable - family of 4 for around 100 Euro including wine. Absolutely loved our experience, we went back for our last meal before leaving for home. The first time I wasn't sure about the family style appetizer buffet -due to lots of items I had never seen or tried before but as I found out, it was one culinary surprise after another - the next time we went, I loaded up, almost trying a little of everything - a true Italian experience! They make all the food fresh including the desserts! The owner was full of passion for food and making people happy. Going back to this restaurant was a highlight of our trip - felt like he had taken us into his home to share a meal with us.

We had a lovely meal here sitting outside the restaurant. Service was good, and the menu and wine selection was extensive. The restaurant itself appears a little old fashioned, but the location is good and they serve fine food which we both enjoyed very much.

Food is first class ingredients and preparation, manager is very welcoming and can recommend or suggest lovely dishes, my friend and I ordered tuna steak and some spicy pasta on the side. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. For dessert we ordered lovely tart sealed by a single espresso. Value for money, will visit again.

This restuarant was fantastic, the food was on point full of flavor and fresh. The waiter Gianfranco was very understanding of the vegan diet and helped us with a meal option. I recommend this restuarant for dinner, and drinks. Pricing was not expensive 10 euros for a first course.
