We are currently staying at the Gold Star Hotel until we close on our new house. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet, on the out skirts of town. We are currently using the studio room. Our room has a pull out couch, full size bed, full size kitchen with full size appliances with shower and bathroom. We have cable and wifi in our room. The price is reasonable for everything included. Kitchen is even fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Service was friendly. Our room is clean, NO BUGS or critters. We even have our dog with us. So they are pet friendly. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for short or long term stay.
Nice place to stay with the exception of the lack of management wanting to do her job right. She will tell you that dogs are allowed but must be on a leash while outside unless you are her friend then you can let your pitbull run wild through the parking lot half the guest smoke pot and some even sell it mentioned it to management and the reply was yes I know I have a few guest here that smoke pot and they have two guest there that very loud every time he gets drunk and high he will start throwing things against the wall and into the parking lot the owner needs to get a better manager to run his motel with that being said go somewhere else unless you like the drama and want to take the chance of getting bite by the 4 pitbull's that run wild without the owners watching them
We have been living at Gold star for almost a year it is a very nice and quiet place to live. One. of greatest features of this place is the manager CeCe. If something needs fix or there is a problem she takes care of it immediately and is one of best landlord we ever had, she is a great person to deal with and she make sure every one is doing well.
Would not stay here at all. I was going to see about a room but as I pulled up the manager was screaming at a tenant telling him she was going to beat him up while his girlfriend was in tears. If this is how a motel manager treats her tenants I personally would not feel safe here and how she acted was un professional and i personally was about to call the police to make sure everyone was ok. Not to mention the outside looks horrible and there are bugs crawling everywhere on the outside of the office. Stay far away from here unless if you want to get verbally abused by the manager
