Nice place good food
I have been to this place twice now. Once in a group, and another with my better half and my oldest. It is definitively designed for groups as there are only cafeteria style tables. This make getting up to get you plate or second plate (the food is good enough for that) an awkward moment as you squeeze behind a row of strangers shoving themselves as awkwardly under the table to let you pass. The only one toilet outside (well, one for men, one for women) is a problem, especially on crowded day. Waiting in line, outside under the rain and squeezing inside the restaurant part once again when it is over is not my thing. But, as I have stated already, the food is good. Not exceptional, but good.
Super helpful and friendly staff. Delicious brunch and very attentive service. A warm welcome with a family feel, generous, with a traditional experience. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.
We were a party of 13 and the experience was great! Everything ran smoothly, extremely friendly staff who were very professional, accommodating, and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They even let us bring our own cake for one of our group members birthday! Food was good, Maple taffy always great and you can do a horse-drawn sleigh ride for an additional low cost. Overall, amazing experience at the Sucrerie Lavigne, will be recommending it to all we know and we will be back in the future!
