Great tradional Russian restaurant and to be honest a very very good surprise. I had a business lunch in this place and was amazed by the quality of the food and the quality of the service. It was also for me a very good surprise to discover some specialities I was not even aware of when I start to read the menu. For business or personal lunch or dinner I recommend this place for the one who discover the traditional Russian cuisine from all the country parts. Just great. Spassibo

I was here for a wedding. In my opinion, this place is very nice and definitely different compared to other Russian Restaurants. I would say if you are looking for an interesting and different experience than usual, definitely come here. The food is definitely worth coming here if you want to try Russian food. They have an interesting decor and the atmosphere is something completely unique and different compared to other places. You definitely need to see this place for yourself. The hookah is good if you are a person who enjoys hookah. It was very nice and very smooth. Definitely a good time. The layout of the place is really nice too. The patio and area which encompasses the restaurant was constructed in a very specific and thought out way in which I would say is meant to promote social activities.
Appropriate service, super nice Russian food, surprisingly quiet for a thursday night. Highly recommended on walking distance from the Tretjakovgallery.
Great food and service. Menu had plenty of interesting meat options, veal, beef, moose even bear (didn’t try that). We sat at the private dining area which had an atmosphere taking you back a few centuries. I would definitely recommend this if you want to try something nice and old school
One of the few places you can have bear meat in Moscow! Quite mixed feelings, henceforth - 4 stars. The restaurant is very beautiful and cosy, it has the traditional Russian rustic charm with elegant details here and there. Food - marvellous. Cooked to perfection, beautifully served. Simple, tasty Russian food, as good as it comes! We dined at an upstairs room. Our waiter took very good care of us, with expert suggestions as to what snacks to have and when, was very polite and respectful, and we felt well looked after. Downstairs they have a beautiful parrot! He made my day. Very gentle and friendly! If you get a chance, do speak to him, parrots love attention. I knocked off a star because of the encounter with the hostess and a waitress when we arrived. Both gave us very condescending looks (which we still caught from them when we went to the bathroom downstairs). The hostess didn’t even say hello, or ask us whether we have a reservation, or offer to take out coats - very rude and deeply unprofessional. This awkward and rude silence was interrupted by another staff member offering to take our coats. I never imagined this can happen at a place like this. We felt unwelcome and that is outrageous for a restaurant like this. I couldn’t decide between 3 or 4 stars, but ultimately felt that I had to do justice to the waiter and the chef, because food was absolutely delicious!
Outstanding food and service in a an old Moscow mansion in a very nice area of Moscow where few tourists wander. The veranda us very pleasant. Interior is 19th century Russian.
A big thank you to the whole team for the amazing service - it's unbelievable how kind and professional they all were. Food is just perfect. We had some seasonal items including moose and Siberian fish, some caviar, and cake for dessert - everything was delicious. Beautiful setting. Upstairs, it feels like you're having dinner at your friend's place - if you happen to be friend with an aristocrat... Downstairs, the fireplace and the warm furniture makes you want to stay forever.
This place been around for ages but still going strong with good food and service.
