Good: The vegetarian mee goreng (mamak) is definitely the highlight here and its portion is just huge. I easily spend the first few minutes just eating the "kuehs" and felt full by then. In my opinion, it's better than USJ 2's Bangkok Lane if you're just looking for a normal variant mee goreng. Drinks are OK-ish I guess, had barley which cost RM2 and it tasted good Bad: While the portion of the CKT is a lot and the kway teow itself is springy, the taste just isn't there and pretty lacklustre. SS3's Lau Wan experienced the same thing but they accompanied their CKT with tangy chili sauce to boost its taste Ugly: Finding parking is definitely the ugly side here as if you simply parked for even for a quick meal, there's a 99% chance that MBSJ staffs will have clamped your vehicle before you even finished eating
This eatery have been operating for the past few decades and obviously stood the test of time. It's a corner lot adjoining another intermediate lot with typical Chinese coffee shop setting. Interior layout is decent without being too overcrowded. The hawker fares available here are very impressive...almost A to Z! My favourite is the wanton noodle soup - with decent cuts of char-siew, plump wantons and more satisfyingly with "old school" flavour. Prawn noodle, Hokkien mee (evenings) are also popular feature here. Morning beverages are good and obviously the prepatory skills of an "old pro." Parking is quite convenient but this is a high traffic vicinity, therefore, can be challenging during peak business hours.
Home of the 1teaspoon Milo. Had a small teacup of the blandest Milo I've ever had the honour to try Also home of rubber fish head beehoon. Was hungry and the dish took awhile to cook and I was anticipating a decent, if not marvellous bowl of noodles. Soup was watery, and looked but did not taste milky. Friends had prawn noodles and pork noodles and both were a little luckier - food was not great but not bad.
Not bad. Cleaner than many similar type of eateries. Tried only the vegetarian food so far. Not bad, definitely a viable option.
Chinese mix rice foot is ok only the is quite higher the previous seller is much more reasonable maybe around 2 years back they change the owner and now is way too high really cut throat so be careful you when you text little bit you will see the charger is quite high if you take more he will be much much more so please be careful but the food is good I need a price is way high. price Rm8 for race, 3 small pieces chicken, vegetable quite expensive. 6/6/19
The Hokkien fried mee was awesome...fried with chachoal
The Prawn Cheong Fun is to die for. Koew Teoy & Wan Tan Mee is pretty okay too. Yong Tau Foo was a miss unfortunately. This hawker center also has an assortment of Nyonya Kuih & Seremban style Siew Pau.
