Paid for a virtual class on 12/3 according to the registration email and meetup group. The zoom link I received was for a different date and would not work. Emailed NOVA and posted in the Meetup but no response.

Nova Labs has a wide variety of equipment ranging from 3D printers to tools for wood and metalworking. Theirs is a large facility with an active community. Certainly one of the more impressive makerspaces I've visited!

This is a long over due review. These guys saved me from being stranded in June of 2019. I'm sorry guys for not writing this review sooner. I had issues with my old phone and thought I lost everything and being from out of state I couldn't find your information but luckily google backed up these photos along with a photo of your contact info. I'm also sorry for not remembering your names. It all started getting ready to head home at 11pm on a work trip with a fully loaded truck and trailer with a weight distribution system. Somehow one of the cotter keys came off or broke and got lost. I couldn't find any hardware large or heavy enough to support the distribution system arms at 11pm. I met a random guy in homedepot who looked like he could have been a welder and asked if he was. Unfortunately he was not and I asked if he knew of any 24hr makerspace and he recommended contacting these guys even though they were closed because they are pretty passionate about what they do and someone would probably be there. Sure enough there was a whole crew of guys willing to help. The piece I needed was a forged 90 bend on solid steel seen in the pictures. I wanted something fast and sloppy just to get back home to Chicago, that's not what happened. They happened to have the right size steel there and then took me outback and introduced me to a guy blacksmithing a knife and asked him if he would be willing to assist. He did happily and the whole crew of guys had made 2 forged 90 degrees bent pieces exactly like the original in a very short time. According to the time stamps on the photos I took, looks like less than 40 minutes. You can see for yourself in the photo. Thank you again guys! Also if you still have my number feel free to send me a text!

This place is incredible! I had a basic beginner course in Blacksmithing. However the staff, and tour itself of all the machines and tools was epic. Absolutely, best place ever for shop type work and atmosphere.
