I took my machine in for a service and the turnaround was well within 2 weeks. Had my newborn with me when I picked it up and the staff were so helpfull and immediately offered to carry my machine to my car for me. Always a busy place but you never have to wait long for someone to assist you.

I have been a longtime Janome owner (4 machines). the old owner, Rolly was fantastic at customer service. But the new owner, not so much. I traded in my Janome 8900 on a 1 yr old 9450 at the end of Sept '20. within a week I had to take it in for repair as the walking food wouldn't work. it was repaired within a couple of days & I took it home just to have it happen again (4 more times). When I left the machine with them last time, they had it for over a month, the owner said he nor Janome had any idea how to fix it. I then requested a refund & said I'd put it toward a new machine. He said he would give me 1000 dollars less than I paid (4 months earlier & I had hardly used it) and that I had to upgrade to the 5200 machine. Not impressed I took my unfixed machine home. Called Johnsons Sewing Center in Edmonton, drove it up the next day & their service tech fixed it for me within an hour. 107 fee (which RD Sewing should be paying IMO) . Think carefully about purchasing there!

Everything is overpriced. The cost to fix a minor issue with my wife's sewing machine was almost the same as the price she paid to purchase it.
