I was looking for real Ecuadorian food near new town Quito. However, a large amount of the places were closed. Not this one! Very nice people and busy (mainly from to go orders). Simple, yet extremely delicious food! I got the vegetarian plate which was huge and so good! It included a salad, a lot of rice, beans and plantains. Couldn't even finish it all. I got guava juice and it was truly fresh real juice! So good! To add to it all, this place is super cheap! All cost me 5. I love eating like a local!

What and AMAZING place. People, this restaurant its highly recommended, fast, clean, great taste free WIFI and CHEAP. I’m so happy that we found this rest, I could eat here everyday. We just landed in Quito for first time and this restaurant surprised me a lot.

Menestras are some of the best dishes you can find of you are a good eater. Lentils or beans , chicken or beef, they come with big load of white rice and fried plantains. Also soups and fish, they serve local bottled beer and fresh juice
