Always have a pleasant interaction with employees at this store. We were shopping for a hamster and Kelly as well as the gentleman with glasses were very informative about their animals and how to prepare for our new furry friend. The employees at this store deserve a 5, but the cage selection (obviously not their fault as it’s a corporate thing) deserves a 1 star. The cages here that are advertised for hamsters are much too small to keep the little cuties happy and healthy. The hamster we bought seems to be adjusting nicely to her new bin cage that we made, thankfully. The staff advised us about how to properly welcome the hamster home and seemed to be genuinely concerned for their wellbeing which is always great to see at a pet store. Prices are reasonable, at least when it comes to small animal items- we haven’t shopped for other animals. Keep up the good work of properly informing people of how to take care of the small mammals! Update: after two weeks, my hamster died. For no reason, as the husbandry given to her was the best, she had no signs of illness and just one day died. Which is probably because petco and other chain animal stores unfortunately get their animal supply from mills which do not take into account bad genetics such as heart defects, which we're suspecting our hamster had. Again, the employees are kind at this store- but it is not the best place to get cages or animals, unfortunately.

U like this pet shop they have a very large assortment for all your pet needs. From reptiles to fish to cats and dogs. And there prices are reasonable too.

The store portion of Petco is great but the grooming is the worst service I have seen. You call to make an appointment and no one answers. You leave a message and your call is never returned. So I scheduled online with the app and I thought I was good. But apparently you have to bring in the rabies paperwork every time. I don't know when this changed because they had my dog's rabies information from the last time he was in and his vaccination did not expire. If they needed this I wish I got a call ahead to bring it. They knew I was coming for days and the app never said anything about having to bring it when I scheduled. I would recommend taking your dog to a better managed groomer.

There was no selection of parakeets and the one you had there was greatly overpriced like most the items in your store! If you can't afford the overhead move to another location.

Gentleman there was very helpful in giving me some advice and info about my son's beardy (bearded dragon). And the pic I'm posting is a gecko just hanging out while I was there. Thought it was amusing.. LOL
