This organization and specifically Damia has gone over and beyond when I was going through a tough time with my vehicle. Providing me the way to commute around the city has been a life saver while my vehicle was being repaired. As a veteran I am very thankful for the assistance when I least expected it and know you've impacted my life positively. Can't thank you all enough for all you do.

I am a nurse working at the Manhattan VA NY Harbor Health Hospital. We have been without personal protective equipment for weeks. On Friday, Veterans Rebuilding Life unexpectedly donated 150 medical face shields to my hospital and made sure that every single worker that was present, including our sanitation staff, received a shield. When we asked about the staff that were not present, VRL volunteers said that they would bring us more PPE the following week until every front line worker was supplied. When we asked about the cost, they told us that the shields were free. I cannot tell you how much this donation meant to me and my team. Grateful does not even begin to cover it. We are happy to serve our city, but the constant fear of bringing the virus home to our families is overwhelming. These face shields are keeping me and my family safe. Thank you so much for everything you are doing Veterans Rebuilding Life. And thank you to everyone who donated money and time to help make these shields. We really can get through this together.

VRL is simply, the best. The organization as a whole and the gracious people who encompass VRL are truly there to help. I cannot say enough great words about this organization and, as a VRL volunteer, I'm grateful to be apart of the amazing community.

So honored to have a friend that’s involved with this amazing organization Veterans Rebuilding Life for our Veterans and family! When i got the call from my dear friend Christian Zamora I was so happy. Being in the state of our city honestly taking public transportation wasn’t going to happen for us! We felt unsafe and giving this generous token of a transportation grant with Lift has been an absolute gift! We would like to thank Veterans Rebuilding Life for their generous amount credit for Lyft! Our family felt safe and what a smooth ride home it was! Many thanks to all involved and the big should out goes to Christian Zamora our life time friend as well as Damia December for setting this all up for my family! You are all appreciated as my family is a family of veterans!!! Xoxoxo
