This is my second time needing services and not knowing where to go or what to do . One thing about the Gateway center if you will apply yourself and exercise your resources you will find your self in a happy place that you haven't felt in a while . I left my home state fleeing domestic violence/stalker pregnant with a 10 year old and homeless. The Gateway center staff are amazing , they are helping me up the ladder 1 day at a time , they will help you find the resources you need , Angela, Scott , Nong, even the DHS Worker thank you for all your help my daughter and I are very grateful

There are a few people here I absolutely adore, I'm so thankful for this place. It DOES get busy and will shut down when too many women come! pAtience is key... I felt very safe here, also met women, who u can see the clearly see the RELIEF from miles away...I've also had to visit multiple times myself, but these people DO help you

When I was at my lowest and in need of help, they turned me away. I got a very clear message that this isn't a resource for abused men. They were on high alert as soon as A man walked in. To be clear, I was a victim of domestic violence and abuse and they sent me away when I felt I had no place to go for help
