Brunch at Imperial gets 5 stars! I met my friends for our first outing out since Covid-19. They have a lovely seating area outside and ample spacious seating inside. The atmosphere was uplifting, welcoming and it really felt like their employees were having fun too! The brunch items are met to be shared so we chose the Fried Chicken & Waffles with their special hot sauce, Potato Latkes with salmon lox and a fried egg, Bravas Breakfast Potatoes and my personal favorite the delicious Huevos Rancheros (OMG these were yummy and I'm going back to eat this by myself!) We also had 2 brunch cocktails and 2 coffee's. The bill was surprisingly low at 78.00. Such a great value for absolutely stunning food! Thank you Imperial for making our day! Its obvious that you are taking the health and safely protocols seriously as well. We appreciate you and your thoughtfulness to make our brunch really special. The staff are excellent, the service is excellent, the food is phenomenal. My wife and I went here for the first time and enjoyed it more than any restaurant we've ever been to. The entire experience is world class. Highly recommend giving them a try.
If you are a red meat lover this place is definitely for you! They offer many delicious steak options. I opted for the salad and giant sweet potato but it was very tasty. We had very good drinks while we enjoyed our food. Excellent whiskey selection. Great flavors in everything we tried.
Imperial has the best steak I've ever had! Also the radish cocktail is my favorite drink! The croquettes are amazing too, and the salmon butter on their asparagus is great. Absolutely stop here for a nice dinner in Portland.
Neat place with great food, beer and spirits. The fried chicken and gravy biscuits are a must (with a fried egg of course). Very attentive and helpful staff. Public parking directly across the street; we found metered parking half a block away. Highly recomended.
Excellent food and service, pleasant staff makes this place special. We got a seat closer to the grill and that was a special experience. Definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Portland downtown.
The imperial pizza is pretty darn good. I wasn't sure about the flavors but they impressed me. Also, the shot and chaser for 5 is a pretty good deal. The pizza was expensive, it was also surprisingly good though. If you venture in here, try the imperial pizza. It's a rare flavor mixture for a pizza.
The food selection is limited, but what they have is GOOD. Visited with a group of 7, and we tried the Duck Meatballs, which are really tasty. I had the Surf and Turf and I have to say the shrimp was the best I've ever tasted! Only downside ( and reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that my steak was cold after a 16 minute wait, which is a long wait, so my food shouldn't have been cold. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcomed. There are a number of interesting cocktails to choose from. I had a non-alcoholic drink, Against the Fence, and it was AMAZING! Thought it was cool that there were mixed virgin drink options because I'm not a big drinker.
