The RNLI does vital work saving lives at sea around the coasts of Britain and Ireland, and this is their focal point for training and lifeboat maintenance. There is a small shop, exhibits telling the story of the RNLI, and a restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing meal. There is no parking on site, but there is reasonably priced public cat park about 200 metres away, the Town Centre is about 10 minutes walk and it is close to Poole Railway station and several bus stops.
