Food was excellent, staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was fitting of the meal. The food came out very fast and was all hot and fresh. I would highly recommend the chicken and cream corn. You can take your dessert to-go, I would recommend the vanilla butter cake. The restaurant could do a better job of spacing out their guests to accommodate social distancing guidelines. They also need to strictly enforce their mask policy, I saw several people who simply wouldn't wear their mask while walking around the gift store.

This location is wonderful. A fantastic gift shop and one that I took full advantage of. From rooster prints painted by Paula to gorgeous microwave and dishwasher safe everyday dinnerware set for 4 in Garden Rooster. Now let’s talk FOOD! Try everything, this family style menu makes it easy to experience just in that way. We enjoyed the staff and food so much we came back the very next day. No doubt this has become a favorite stop every time we’re in the Smokey Mountains.

Dined: Thursday Feb. 4 2021 The family style menu was a surprise, but we were able to accommodate one another (even at 18.99 a person for lunch). No children menu. You are forced to pay 9.99 for small children who do not eat many choices on the family style menu and the same thing the adults choose to eat. The pork chops were inedible due salt overload and soggy. The biscuits were room temperature. The cream corn was extremely cold. Greasy catfish. Most of the food tasted precooked / frozen (definitely not homemade Mac and cheese or mash potatoes). We were sat next to a group of people near the host stand and then another large group of 9 were sat to the other side of us during Covid when the entire dining room had open tables. No social distancing!? Extremely disappointed!

I had been told that this was to die for food and I have been waiting a couple of years to go. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly. However the fried okra appetizer was very salty and so was the chicken fried pork chops. The fried chicken was ok but also a little too salty. We told the server about this and she offered to bring us another meat but we declined. We still had a lot of other food to choose from. I do believe it was too pricey for the food you get. But you are paying for the name. We will not be returning there are too many other places to choose from a lot better price.

There is a very long wait time but it's worth it for the scrumptious, southern, all-you-can-eat food. For 22.99 per person you get 3 meats/fish and 4 sides, family style, plus dessert and biscuits. They will keep bringing food if you want, but we were full after 1 serving. They gave us dessert to go... And ooey gooey butter cake, which I couldn't eat until the next day because I was so full. But I am so glad I saved it and ate it, because it was so delicious! Another bonus to eating here is overlooking the water fountain show during dinner.
