Once again super hire has made me loose 3 hours of my life today, for nothing, I had to queue more than 2 hours and not even get in before closing time, lack of staff and very rude warehouse people, once again thanks to the security guard for to doing a proper job , not like the rest of you in super hire,
Had to queue more than an hour for 1 bench. Jesus
Worst experience ever. As I browsed peacefully and respectably through Super Hire at their props for a movie I am directing, I was confronted by a man, who I now know is the director of Super Hire who asked me , what I was doing there. After being questioned without an introduction of who he was and why he was asking, I was escorted out despite having signed in at the front desk. He asked if I was a student , I explained that I was and was then told by him that “this is a place of business in which I cannot just roam around.” He hadn’t bothered to ask further questions about whether I was working professionally on a project in the midst of his scolding or whether I was both a student and a professional interested in hire. He rather made an assumption about who I was and asked me to leave. He escorted me to the front desk where he disappeared without an explanation for his actions. When I asked the woman at the front desk for an explanation, she then explained that students were required to make a reservation. Meaning, anyone else other that students claiming to be a professional on a film set could waltz around the building with no trouble. In addition to their profiling and flawed and poorly implemented protocol, there was no indication at the front desk or on their website of the need for a reservation. Flustered and scorned by the mistreatment, I was unable to state my case further and just left. I was profiled and I do not appreciate the directors unprofessionalism and bias. I won’t ever use Superhire again, and won’t ever recommend this business to my professional network. :)
