My wife's niece took courses here at the \Institut Anglais\, on my recommendation, as it appeared to have lots of positive reviews. The reality was the most unprofessionnal and amateurish school we have ever experienced. Firstly, it is not in any way specialised in teaching English. In fact they teach lots of other languages under various pompous sounding names, Institut Espangnol, Institut Berlin, Institut Tokyo, Chinese Institute, Institut Arabe, etc, etc... claiming in each case to be the leading specialist in that language in Paris. For English, the so-called \langue maternelle\ teacher had an extremely strong non anglo-phone accent, made lots of mistakes in English, had no method and little clue about teaching. The only thing this school is good at is taking money and promoting itself on the internet. On account of their appalling standards, I wondered why they had so many good reviews... It's simple : the 5 star reviews are all rubbish. For instance, the eviewers\ Charles Nouboué, Alexandre Goulet, Pierre Bouchin all followed courses at around 10 different schools of this \group\ in 10 different languages all at the same time!! Tocabens Trabucaires claims his children took courses in 10 languages in 10 schools at the same time. The reviews ans the 5 star note are as useless as this school's teaching. Do yourself a favour and go to the British Council, where my niece went later and found the teaching to be good. Their Google reviews are less good than this lots but at least theirs are real ones ! To show my discontent, I will be posting this message on all their other school reviews... just like they do... PS here's a photo of their classy Paris \teaching center'

Je voulais partir au japon depuis longtemps et ai suivi le Pack Survie Japonais pour préparer le voyage. En 3 mois j'étais prête à partir et ça s'est super bien passé! J'ai vraiment pu communiquer avec les japonais et aucun problème durant tout le voyage!
Très bonne école, sérieuse, bonne ambiance, j'ai bien appris et souhaite continuer le prochain niveau. Surtout l'apprentissage d'une langue ne s'arrête pas sur uniquement la prononciation ou méthode d'assimile, mais aussi tout ce qui est autour de sa propre culture!!!
Y a effectivement un truc louche en écho au dernier avis (Patrick Deverill), par exemple Pierre Bouchain aurait fait tous les cours de toutes les langues pour des simples voyages vacances ? Entre autres. Merci d’avoir signalé cette piste. Je suis allé sur place et effectivement le centre est pas vraiment chinois. Attention à ceux qui sont intéressés par un peu plus qu’un simple cours.
Excellent cours. Très efficace pour préparer mon voyage au Japon
