A family restaurant with lovely Tunisian food. Warm welcome, kind service, a good selection of wines from North Africa, tagines, couscous, salads, pastries, etc. Try the eau de vie de figues.

The waitstaff was friendly and the food was delicious and very authentic. Try the harrissa (a condiment) which is made in house. Came with a party of six and everybody was happy with what they ordered. **Edit: we went back a second time and though the food was still good, the service was totally random. The waitresses were much more interested in chatting with each other than providing any service. The water was very warm, the brick was overcooked, and she refused to acknowledge us after we paid the bill and waited for our change. We ended up just leaving and letting her keep the change, then she saw us again as if by magic to wish us \au revoir\. They were so busy chatting that they broke plates, and when another couple came in to be seated they had to wander around the restaurant trying to find the waitresses who pretended not to see them.

Tunisian restaurant, great home cooked food, with friendly attentive service. The home made Harissa is the best I've tried. The Chicken and lamb with figs Tagines are full of flavour while the couscous is light and nourishing. We definitely recommend the food at Chez Jaafar
