what Sun of Wolf has brunch now so I went to Sun of Wolf last week to try their brunch and I would like to say it was phenomenal. Their egg sandwich with the brioche bun I added the chorizo so freaking good their egg sandwich with the brioche bun I added the chorizo so freaking good. to top it all off I have their pancakes with the sweet plantains on top oh I’m from Miami and that is a little taste from home so I would like to say that was probably one of my favorite dish on the menu. would highly suggest going back and inviting more of my friends for their brunch cocktail menus for a little bougie brunch Sunday.

My first new place after many months of Covid lockdown. Wow what a way to start ... The place is on California Ave and the street is blocked for traffic so all seating is on the road, kinda European style. First all the covid sensitivity stuff - all staff wear masks, tables are at least 6-8 feet apart and there's sanitizer if you want. We were a party of 6, so we tried many of drinks. The winner for us was Year of the Earth Dog, an excellent variation of a margarita. There's tamarind instead of orange liqueur. the combination was excellent. Kudos for an innovative mix. Others ordered Ryan Alexander, Chapulin, Love Machine ... all very good. Achiote tortilla - served with most of their dishes, Wow, I've never had this before and needless to mention was blown away by the taste. Has a pleasant peppery flavor. Divine! Appetizers: Empanadas, Queso fundido and we had to order the nachos. Entrees - I went with the tacos de carnitas - you get two and they bigger than a \street\ taco. Would warn that if you have any of appetizers you won't be able to finish it. Others ordered the tacos del mar and maja lasagna. The service was attentive and not intrusive. Accommodative when we wanted some customizations. I've been to Michelin star Mexican restaurants and I have to say these folks were better. There wasn't a single appetizer or entree we didn't like!! Highly recommended.

Now this is going to sound weird for an ostensibly Mexican place, but get the hamburger. It's perfectly meaty and juicy. We've tried a number of things: all good, especially the cocktails. A hamburger and a love machine is just the thing to bring you joy in our otherwise stressful world.

Really enjoyed the food and cocktails. Service was attentive and the ambiance and decor was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Interestingly, they didn't only have Mexican dishes on the menu, they also had a Thai dish and some other interesting dishes. The chocolate tart dessert was amazing because it wasn't too sweet.

Very positively surprised by the great food quality and the friendliness of the staff. We came here with a bigger group of 13 people, the service was great and everything arrived timely and tasty. Heartily recommend the delicious desserts as well.
