A lovely pub with great ambience. Service was very friendly, if a bit slow. Food was quite good, though room for improvement. My burger was delivered burned and they didn't quibble when I sent it back. At 7, the price of a dessert was only really justified by the portion size as the actual desserts aren't anything special. But on the whole, not bad. Fish of the Day dish was up to scratch. Great that dogs are welcome in the bar area.

Spent a few hours in their garden for a nice midweek lunch. We had leek and potato soup as our starters Fish and chips as our main course And finished off with sticky toffee pudding. We have been here a good few times and it's always a treat to eat here. Don't expect incredible food, it's simple pub food, above average. We were lucky to benefit from 50% off using the eat out to help out scheme so can't complain about the value. The service is second to none , incredible ! The food definitely needs a little more attention though. They have farm animals in the garden and the atmosphere is really good Enjoyable lunch

Burger I had was hand made and very good.... cooked to perfection.. chips were skin on but a little bit limp. Tiny bit pricey for what you get in my view at 14 but very tasty none the less! Garden is lovely and they have chickens and goats if you are interested in that sort of thing.

Two of the three of us had well cooked good value meals. One didn't. Suggest heading for burgers and pies rather than anything more complex. Sticky toffee pudding rated two yums. Serving staff delightful. Night before Level 2 so super busy.
