This is a very compact, regional airport. Huge parking lot in front of the one terminal building they have. You park the car (free) and walk over to the building. Check in counter for Skymark is right next to security. On the second floor they have a small food corner and gift shops. There are shuttle buses running to Tokyo. No train connections though!

poor Tokyo Bus connection - Busses are fully booked weeks before. Please consider that when using this Airport
Compact, simple and easy. Not that crowded as an airport, except the free parking. Seems you can get bus tickets to Tokyo station for 500 with discount (if you take flights to Ibaraki AP)
